1 tablespoon | Lemon juice |
|
1 teaspoon | Turmeric powder |
|
2 teaspoons | Red chili powder |

1 teaspoon | Salt |

2 tablespoons | Coconut oil |

2 | Onion , finely sliced |
|
1 tablespoon | Ginger-garlic paste |
|
2 teaspoons | Garam masala |
|
1 cup | Coconut , grated |
|
1 | Egg , boiled and peeled |
|
2 | Green Chili , slit |
|
1 cup | Cilantro , chopped |
|
1 cup | Mint , chopped |
|
1 cup | Raisin |
|
1 cup | Cashew , nuts |
|
1 cup | Coconut Milk , thick |

1 cup | Water |
Instructions
- 1 Clean the chicken and make small slits on it for marination.
- 2 Marinate the chicken with lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Set aside for 30 minutes.
- 3 Heat coconut oil in a pan and sauté the sliced onions until golden brown.
- 4 Add ginger garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
- 5 Add garam masala and grated coconut, and sauté for a few minutes.
- 6 Add green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, raisins, and cashew nuts. Mix well.
- 7 Stuff the chicken with the prepared mixture and place the boiled egg inside.
- 8 Tie the chicken legs with a thread to keep the stuffing intact.
- 9 Heat a large pan and add the stuffed chicken.
- 10 Pour coconut milk and water over the chicken.
- 11 Cover and cook on low heat for about 40 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- 12 Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Tips
For a richer flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator.
