Ingredients

2 tablespoons | Oil |

1 medium | Onion , finely chopped |

2 teaspoons | Ginger-garlic paste |

2 medium | Tomato , finely chopped |

1 teaspoon | Red chili powder |
|
1/2 teaspoon | Turmeric powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Coriander powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Garam masala |
|
1 cup | Water |

2 tablespoons | Cilantro , chopped |
Instructions
- 1 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 2 Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 3 Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
- 4 Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and oil starts to separate.
- 5 Mix in the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
- 6 Add the mutton mince and cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously until the mince changes color.
- 7 Pour in the water, cover the pan, and let it simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes or until the mutton is cooked through and tender.
- 8 Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- 9 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
Tips
For a richer taste, add a spoonful of ghee while cooking the mutton mince.
