Ingredients

Lasagne Noodle 6 sheets Lasagne Noodle
olive oil 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Onion 1 small Onion , chopped
Garlic 2 cloves Garlic , minced
Beef 250 grams Beef , ground
tomato sauce 1 cup Tomato sauce
Oregano 1 teaspoon Oregano , dried
Basil 1 teaspoon Basil , dried
Ricottum Cheese 1 cup Ricottum Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese , shredded
Parmesan Cheese 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese , grated
salt Salt , to taste
Black Pepper Black Pepper , to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2 In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  3. 3 Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. 4 Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. 5 In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the lasagne noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  6. 6 Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. 7 Place a layer of lasagne noodles over the sauce.
  8. 8 Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by a layer of meat sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  9. 9 Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with meat sauce and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. 10 Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  11. 11 Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  12. 12 Let the lasagne cool for a few minutes before serving.

Tips

For a richer flavor, prepare the meat sauce a day in advance to allow the flavors to meld together.
