Ingredients

1/2 cup garlic cloves, peeled
1/4 cup red chili powder
2 tablespoons peanuts, roasted
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. 1 In a blender, combine the garlic cloves, red chili powder, roasted peanuts, cumin seeds, and salt.
  2. 2 Blend the ingredients into a coarse paste.
  3. 3 Heat the oil in a small pan over medium heat.
  4. 4 Add the blended mixture to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  5. 5 Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  6. 6 Once cooled, add the lemon juice and mix well.
  7. 7 Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.

Tips

Adjust the amount of red chili powder to suit your spice preference.
