Made and distributed at milads, aqiqahs, and family religious occasions. The most distinctly Bohri sweet in existence.

Ingredients
| 1 cup | whole wheat flour |
| 1 cup | jaggery |
| 1/4 cup | ghee |
| 1/4 cup | mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios) |
| 1/4 cup | raisins |
| 1 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | salt |
Instructions
- 1 Dry roast the whole wheat flour in a pan on low heat until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma. This should take about 10-12 minutes. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
- 2 In a separate pan, melt the ghee and add the mixed nuts. Fry them until they are golden brown, then remove and set aside.
- 3 In the same ghee, add the raisins and fry until they puff up. Remove and set aside with the nuts.
- 4 In a pot, add jaggery with a little water and heat until it melts completely. Strain to remove impurities if necessary.
- 5 Mix the roasted flour with the melted jaggery, stirring continuously to combine well.
- 6 Add the fried nuts, raisins, cardamom powder, and salt to the mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
- 7 Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then break it into small pieces or shape into balls as desired.
Tips
For added texture, you can add grated coconut to the mixture.
