2 tablespoons | Oil |

1 teaspoon | Mustard Seed |
|
1 teaspoon | Cumin , seeds |
|
2 tablespoons | Ginger-garlic paste |
|
2 medium | Onion , finely sliced |
|
2 teaspoons | Red chili powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Turmeric powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Coriander powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Garam masala |
|
2 sprigs | Curry Leaf |
|
2 tablespoons | Cilantro , chopped |

Instructions
- 1 Clean the mutton pieces thoroughly and set aside.
- 2 Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
- 3 Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter.
- 4 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
- 5 Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- 6 Add mutton pieces to the pan and stir well.
- 7 Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- 8 Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the mutton is tender, stirring occasionally. This may take about 30-40 minutes.
- 9 Once the mutton is cooked, increase the heat and fry until the oil separates from the masala.
- 10 Add garam masala and curry leaves, mixing well.
- 11 Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
Tips
For a richer taste, you can add a splash of lemon juice before serving.
