Ingredients
| 1 cup | ripe mango pulp |
| 1 cup | whole milk |
| 1/4 cup | granulated sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | gelatin powder |
| 1/4 cup | warm water |
| 1/2 cup | heavy cream |
| — | fresh mint leaves for garnish |
Instructions
- 1 In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin powder in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it blooms.
- 2 In a saucepan, combine the mango pulp, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 3 Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- 4 Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then gently fold in the heavy cream.
- 5 Pour the mixture into serving bowls or ramekins and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
- 6 Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
Tips
For a richer flavor, use fresh mangoes to make the pulp instead of canned.
