| 1 cup | ripe mango pieces |
| 1/2 cup | grated coconut |
| 2 teaspoons | jaggery |
| 1 teaspoon | mustard seeds |
| 2 teaspoons | red chili powder |
| 1 pinch | asafoetida |

| 1 cup | water |
Instructions
- 1 In a blender, grind the grated coconut, mustard seeds, and red chili powder into a smooth paste using a little water.
- 2 In a mixing bowl, combine the mango pieces, ground paste, jaggery, and salt.
- 3 Add water to adjust the consistency as desired.
- 4 Mix well and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 5 Serve the Mango Sasam at room temperature.
Tips
Use ripe, sweet mangoes for the best flavor. Adjust jaggery and chili powder to taste.
