Ingredients

1 cup finger millet flour (marua)
2 cups water
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon ghee

Instructions

  1. 1 In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. 2 Add a pinch of salt to the boiling water.
  3. 3 Gradually add the finger millet flour to the boiling water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. 4 Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir the mixture until it thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  5. 5 Once thickened, cover the pan and let it cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  7. 7 Serve hot as a side dish or a light meal.

Tips

For a richer taste, you can add a bit more ghee before serving.
