Ingredients
| 1 cup | ragi flour (finger millet) |
| 1/4 cup | wheat flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 cup | water |
| — | ghee or oil for cooking |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine ragi flour, wheat flour, and salt.
- 2 Gradually add water to the flour mixture and knead to form a soft dough.
- 3 Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a ball.
- 4 Flatten each ball into a disc using your palms or a rolling pin.
- 5 Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat.
- 6 Place the flattened dough on the hot tawa and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
- 7 Apply ghee or oil around the edges and cook until both sides are golden brown.
- 8 Repeat the process for the remaining dough balls.
- 9 Serve hot with chutney or curry.
Tips
Ensure the dough is soft to make rolling easier, and cook on medium heat to avoid burning.
