Instructions
- 1 Clean the fish fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2 In a bowl, mix red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to form a paste.
- 3 Apply the spice paste evenly over the fish fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
- 4 Let the fish marinate for at least 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- 5 Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 6 Add curry leaves to the hot oil and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 7 Carefully place the marinated fish fillets in the pan.
- 8 Fry the fish for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- 9 Remove the fish from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 10 Serve hot with steamed rice or flatbreads.
