Ingredients

2 cups plain yogurt
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon green chili paste
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon black salt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup water

Instructions

  1. 1 In a mixing bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth.
  2. 2 Add water to the yogurt and continue whisking until well combined.
  3. 3 Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat.
  4. 4 Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
  5. 5 Add ginger paste and green chili paste to the pan and sauté for a minute.
  6. 6 Pour the tempered mixture into the yogurt and water mixture.
  7. 7 Add sugar, black salt, and regular salt to the yogurt mixture and mix well.
  8. 8 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.

Tips

Adjust the amount of green chili paste to your spice preference.
