Mizo Red Rice
Veg
Vegan
Local red and brown rice varieties from the Mizo hills steamed in a bamboo container or pot — the daily staple of every meal, eaten plain alongside bai, vawksa rep, and any curry. The red bran is retained, giving it a nutty, earthy flavour and higher nutrition than polished white rice.
