Ingredients

Flour 250 grams Flour
salt 1 teaspoon Salt , to taste
ghee 1 tablespoon Ghee
water 150 milliliters Water
Beef Or Chicken 200 grams Beef Or Chicken , minced
Onion 1 medium Onion , finely chopped
Garlic 2 cloves Garlic , minced
Ginger 1 teaspoon Ginger , minced
coriander powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
Cumin 1 teaspoon Cumin , powder
turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
garam masala 1 teaspoon Garam masala
Cilantro 2 tablespoons Cilantro , chopped
Mint 2 tablespoons Mint , chopped
Egg 2 large Egg
oil Oil , for frying

Instructions

  1. 1 In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, and ghee. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. 2 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. 3 Add the minced meat to the pan and cook until browned.
  4. 4 Stir in coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, and salt. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Add garam masala, coriander leaves, and mint leaves. Mix well and remove from heat. Let it cool slightly.
  6. 6 Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle.
  7. 7 Beat the eggs in a bowl and add a pinch of salt.
  8. 8 Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each dough circle. Pour a little beaten egg over the meat.
  9. 9 Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to form a square parcel.
  10. 10 Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each parcel until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
  11. 11 Serve hot with a side of chutney or sauce.

Tips

For a vegetarian version, substitute the meat with a mixture of boiled potatoes and peas.
