Naga Boiled Maize

Veg Vegan

Fresh corn cobs boiled or fire-roasted until the kernels are tender and lightly charred — eaten plain as a starchy side alongside meat preparations or as a standalone snack in the maize-growing season. Corn is widely cultivated on the Naga hillside terraces and is an important secondary grain alongside rice across the Naga highlands.
