Ingredients
| 1 cup | nannari root |
| 2 cups | sugar |
| 1 liter | water |
| 1 teaspoon | lemon juice |
| — | ice cubes |
| — | mint leaves for garnish |
Instructions
- 1 Clean the nannari root thoroughly and crush it slightly.
- 2 In a pot, add the crushed nannari root and 1 liter of water.
- 3 Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 4 Strain the liquid to remove the nannari root pieces.
- 5 Add sugar to the strained liquid and stir until it dissolves completely.
- 6 Let the syrup cool down to room temperature.
- 7 To serve, mix 2-3 tablespoons of the nannari syrup with a glass of cold water.
- 8 Add a teaspoon of lemon juice and stir well.
- 9 Serve with ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.
Tips
Store the nannari syrup in a refrigerator for up to a month. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of syrup added to the water.
