Instructions
- 1 In a bowl, mix minced mutton, gram flour, egg, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Knead into a smooth mixture.
- 2 Divide the mixture into two portions. Flatten each portion and wrap it around a hard-boiled egg, ensuring it's evenly coated.
- 3 Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas on medium heat until they are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- 4 In the same pan, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 5 Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, fennel seeds, and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- 6 Whisk yogurt and add it to the pan. Cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.
- 7 Add the fried koftas to the gravy and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- 8 Finish with fresh cream and garnish with chopped coriander before serving.
Tips
For a richer flavor, marinate the mutton mixture for an hour before cooking.
