Ingredients
| 1 cup | raw rice |
| 1/2 cup | grated coconut |
| 1 teaspoon | fennel seeds |
| 1 cup | water |
| — | salt to taste |
| — | oil for frying |
Instructions
- 1 Wash and soak the raw rice for 4-5 hours.
- 2 Drain the soaked rice and grind it with grated coconut, fennel seeds, and salt, adding water gradually to form a smooth dough.
- 3 Divide the dough into small balls.
- 4 Flatten each ball into a thin disc using your palms or a rolling pin.
- 5 Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 6 Fry the flattened discs in hot oil until they puff up and turn golden brown on both sides.
- 7 Remove from oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crispy texture.
