Ingredients

2 cups water
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
black salt to taste
plain salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
4-5 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. 1 In a pitcher, combine water and fresh lemon juice.
  2. 2 Add sugar and stir until it is completely dissolved.
  3. 3 Season with black salt and plain salt to taste.
  4. 4 Mix in cumin powder and black pepper powder.
  5. 5 Tear the mint leaves slightly to release their aroma and add them to the mixture.
  6. 6 Chill the nimbu pani in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
