| 2 tablespoons | fresh lemon juice |
| 2 tablespoons | sugar |
| — | black salt to taste |
| — | plain salt to taste |
| 1/4 teaspoon | cumin powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | black pepper powder |
| 4-5 | fresh mint leaves |
Instructions
- 1 In a pitcher, combine water and fresh lemon juice.
- 2 Add sugar and stir until it is completely dissolved.
- 3 Season with black salt and plain salt to taste.
- 4 Mix in cumin powder and black pepper powder.
- 5 Tear the mint leaves slightly to release their aroma and add them to the mixture.
- 6 Chill the nimbu pani in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
Tips
For a tangier flavor, adjust the lemon juice and salt according to your taste preference.
