Ingredients
| 1 cup | green peas |
| 1 tablespoon | ghee |
| 1 teaspoon | cumin seeds |
| 1 medium | onion, finely chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | ginger-garlic paste |
| 1 medium | tomato, finely chopped |
| 1/2 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | coriander powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh coriander leaves, chopped |

Instructions
- 1 Grind the green peas coarsely in a blender without adding water.
- 2 Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds.
- 3 Once the cumin seeds splutter, add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 4 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
- 5 Add the chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft and mushy.
- 6 Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Mix well.
- 7 Add the coarsely ground green peas and mix everything together.
- 8 Pour in the water and add salt to taste. Stir well.
- 9 Cover and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peas are cooked and the flavors are well combined.
- 10 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
Tips
For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of garam masala towards the end of cooking.
