Ingredients
| 10 | green chilies |
| 1 cup | freshly grated coconut |
| 1 tablespoon | tamarind pulp |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | mustard seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | urad dal |
| 1 pinch | asafoetida |
| 1 tablespoon | oil |
| 5 | curry leaves |
Instructions
- 1 Wash the green chilies and remove the stems.
- 2 Grind the green chilies, grated coconut, tamarind pulp, and salt into a smooth paste using a little water.
- 3 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 4 Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- 5 Add urad dal and fry until golden brown.
- 6 Add a pinch of asafoetida and curry leaves, and sauté for a few seconds.
- 7 Add the ground chutney paste to the pan and mix well.
- 8 Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until the raw smell of the chilies dissipates.
- 9 Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.

Adjust the number of green chilies based on your spice preference.
