Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons | vegetable oil |
| 3 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 1 | red chili, sliced |
| 300 grams | chicken breast, thinly sliced |
| 2 tablespoons | soy sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | oyster sauce |
| 1 teaspoon | fish sauce |
| 1 teaspoon | sugar |
| 1 cup | Thai basil leaves |
| 1 | lime, cut into wedges for serving |
| — | Cooked jasmine rice for serving |
Instructions
- 1 Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- 2 Add the minced garlic and sliced red chili, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 3 Add the sliced chicken breast to the pan and stir-fry until it is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4 Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
- 5 Add the Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute until the leaves are wilted.
- 6 Serve the stir-fry hot with cooked jasmine rice and lime wedges on the side.
Tips
For a spicier dish, add more red chili or use bird's eye chilies.
