Ingredients
| 1 cup | plain yogurt |
| 1 cup | milk |
| 2 tablespoons | ghee |
| 2 tablespoons | sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | honey |
| 1 teaspoon | poppy seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | grated coconut |
| 1 teaspoon | cardamom powder |
| 1 tablespoon | chopped almonds |
| 1 tablespoon | chopped cashews |
| 1 tablespoon | raisins |
| 1 pinch | saffron strands |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt and milk. Whisk until smooth.
- 2 Add ghee, sugar, honey, poppy seeds, and grated coconut to the yogurt-milk mixture. Mix well.
- 3 Stir in cardamom powder, chopped almonds, chopped cashews, raisins, and saffron strands.
- 4 Add salt to taste and mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- 5 Let the Panchamrut sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- 6 Serve at room temperature or chilled as a side dish or offering.
Tips
For a richer taste, you can lightly toast the nuts and coconut before adding them to the mixture.
