Ingredients

200 grams paneer
2 tablespoons ghee
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
2 pieces green chilies, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
salt to taste
2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1 Crumble the paneer into small pieces and set aside.
  2. 2 Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  3. 3 Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4 Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies. Sauté for another minute.
  5. 5 Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.
  6. 6 Add the chopped green bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  7. 7 Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  8. 8 Add the crumbled paneer and mix thoroughly with the masala.
  9. 9 Cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.
  10. 10 Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  11. 11 Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

Tips

For a richer taste, you can add a tablespoon of cream or milk while cooking.
