200 grams | Paneer , cubed |

2 tablespoons | Butter |
|
1 tablespoon | Oil |
|
1 cup | Tomato , puree |
|
1 medium | Onion , finely chopped |
|
1 teaspoon | Ginger-garlic paste |
|
1 teaspoon | Coriander powder |
|
1/2 teaspoon | Cumin , powder |
|
1/2 teaspoon | Turmeric powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Red chili powder |
|
1/2 teaspoon | Garam masala |
|
— | Salt , to taste |
|
1/2 cup | Cream , fresh |
|
1 tablespoon | Kasuri Methi , dried fenugreek leaves |

2 tablespoons | Cilantro , chopped |
Instructions
- 1 Heat oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 2 Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 3 Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- 4 Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- 5 Mix in coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- 6 Cook the spices for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 7 Add the paneer cubes and gently mix to coat them with the masala.
- 8 Pour in the fresh cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 9 Sprinkle garam masala and kasuri methi over the dish, then stir well.
- 10 Add the remaining butter and let it melt into the sauce.
- 11 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
Tips
For a richer taste, you can add a pinch of sugar to balance the flavors.
