Ingredients
| 200 grams | Padrón peppers |
| 2 tablespoons | olive oil |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 Wash the Padrón peppers thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2 Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3 Once the oil is hot, add the Padrón peppers to the skillet in a single layer.
- 4 Fry the peppers, turning them occasionally, until they are blistered and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5 Remove the peppers from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate.
- 6 Sprinkle salt generously over the fried peppers.
- 7 Serve immediately as a tapa or side dish.
Tips
Be cautious when frying, as the peppers can splatter. Use a splatter guard if necessary.
