Ingredients

200 grams Padrón peppers
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Wash the Padrón peppers thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2 Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. 3 Once the oil is hot, add the Padrón peppers to the skillet in a single layer.
  4. 4 Fry the peppers, turning them occasionally, until they are blistered and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5 Remove the peppers from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate.
  6. 6 Sprinkle salt generously over the fried peppers.
  7. 7 Serve immediately as a tapa or side dish.

Tips

Be cautious when frying, as the peppers can splatter. Use a splatter guard if necessary.
