Ingredients
| 1 cup | ragi flour |
| 2 cups | water |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | ghee |
Instructions
- 1 In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add salt.
- 2 In a separate bowl, mix ragi flour with a little water to make a smooth paste.
- 3 Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the ragi paste, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- 4 Cover the pot and let it cook on low heat for about 5-7 minutes.
- 5 Open the lid, stir the mixture well, and cook for another 5 minutes until it thickens and leaves the sides of the pot.
- 6 Once cooked, add ghee and mix well.
- 7 Wet your hands with water, take a portion of the ragi mixture, and shape it into a ball (mudda).
- 8 Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Tips
Serve hot with a spicy curry or dal for an authentic Rayalaseema experience.
