Ingredients
| 1 cup | finger millet flour (ragi flour) |
| 1/2 cup | rice |
| 3 cups | water |
| — | salt to taste |
Instructions
- 1 Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water.
- 2 In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
- 3 Add the rinsed rice to the boiling water and cook until the rice is soft and mushy.
- 4 Once the rice is cooked, add salt to taste.
- 5 Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the ragi flour to the pot, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- 6 Continue stirring and cooking until the mixture thickens and the ragi flour is fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
- 7 Once the mixture is smooth and comes together, remove from heat.
- 8 Wet your hands with a little water and shape the mixture into small balls or serve as is.
Tips
Serve Ragi Sangati hot with a side of spicy curry or chutney for an authentic experience.
