Ingredients

1 cup finger millet flour (ragi flour)
1/2 cup rice
3 cups water
salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2 In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
  3. 3 Add the rinsed rice to the boiling water and cook until the rice is soft and mushy.
  4. 4 Once the rice is cooked, add salt to taste.
  5. 5 Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the ragi flour to the pot, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  6. 6 Continue stirring and cooking until the mixture thickens and the ragi flour is fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
  7. 7 Once the mixture is smooth and comes together, remove from heat.
  8. 8 Wet your hands with a little water and shape the mixture into small balls or serve as is.

Serve Ragi Sangati hot with a side of spicy curry or chutney for an authentic experience.
