Ingredients

1 cup semolina (ravva)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup ghee
2 tablespoons cashew nuts
2 tablespoons raisins
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  2. 2 Add cashew nuts and raisins to the pan and fry until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3 In the same pan, add semolina and roast on low flame until it turns light golden and aromatic.
  4. 4 Add sugar to the roasted semolina and mix well.
  5. 5 Add cardamom powder, fried cashew nuts, and raisins to the mixture.
  6. 6 Gradually add warm milk to the mixture, stirring continuously.
  7. 7 Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it's warm to the touch.
  8. 8 Shape the mixture into small laddus by taking a portion in your hand and pressing it into a ball.
  9. 9 Allow the laddus to cool completely and set before serving.

Tips

Ensure the semolina is roasted well to enhance the flavor of the laddus.
