1 teaspoon | Cumin , seeds |

1 teaspoon | Mustard Seed |

1 cup | Onion , finely chopped |

1 tablespoon | Ginger-garlic paste |
|
2 tablespoons | Green chili paste |
|
1 teaspoon | Turmeric powder |
|
1 teaspoon | Red chili powder |
|
1 cup | Coconut Milk , thick |
|
1 tablespoon | Tamarind paste |
|
1 tablespoon | Sugar |
|
1 teaspoon | Salt |
|
2 tablespoons | Cilantro , fresh, chopped |
Instructions
- 1 Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 2 Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and let them crackle.
- 3 Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 4 Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chili paste, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 5 Add turmeric powder and red chili powder, and mix well.
- 6 Pour in the coconut milk and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- 7 Add the tamarind paste, sugar, and salt, stirring to combine.
- 8 Gently add the prawns to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
- 9 Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
