Ingredients
| 200 grams | kefalotyri cheese |
| 2 tablespoons | all-purpose flour |
| 2 tablespoons | olive oil |

Instructions
- 1 Cut the kefalotyri cheese into slices about 1 cm thick.
- 2 Dredge each cheese slice in flour, ensuring it is evenly coated on all sides.
- 3 Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 4 Once the oil is hot, add the floured cheese slices to the pan.
- 5 Fry the cheese for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- 6 Remove the cheese from the pan and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- 7 Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Tips
For a more authentic taste, use a traditional Greek cheese like kefalograviera if kefalotyri is unavailable.
