Ingredients
| 2 cups | rice flour |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | oil |
Instructions
- 1 In a large mixing bowl, combine rice flour and salt.
- 2 Gradually add water to the rice flour, mixing continuously to form a smooth dough.
- 3 Knead the dough well until it becomes soft and pliable.
- 4 Divide the dough into small, equal-sized balls.
- 5 Heat a tawa or flat griddle over medium heat.
- 6 Take one dough ball and flatten it slightly with your hands.
- 7 Place the flattened dough on the tawa and gently press it with your fingers to spread it into a thin circle.
- 8 Drizzle a few drops of oil around the bhakri.
- 9 Cook on one side until it develops light brown spots, then flip and cook the other side.
- 10 Remove from the tawa and repeat with the remaining dough balls.
Tips
Serve hot with coconut chutney or curry for an authentic Konkani experience.
