Ingredients
| 500 grams | pork tenderloin |
| 2 tablespoons | olive oil |
| 3 tablespoons | fresh lemon juice |
| 2 cloves | garlic, minced |
| 1 teaspoon | dried oregano |
| 1 teaspoon | dried thyme |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 0.5 teaspoon | black pepper |
| 1 | red onion, cut into wedges |
| 1 | green bell pepper, cut into chunks |
| 1 | red bell pepper, cut into chunks |
| 4 | wooden skewers, soaked in water |
Instructions
- 1 Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized cubes.
- 2 In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- 3 Add the pork cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- 4 Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- 5 Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the soaked skewers, alternating with pieces of red onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper.
- 6 Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly charred.
- 7 Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Tips
For a more authentic flavor, try using a charcoal grill. Serve with warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
