Ingredients

pork tenderloin 500 grams Pork tenderloin
olive oil 2 tablespoons Olive oil
lemon juice 3 tablespoons Lemon juice , fresh
Garlic 2 cloves Garlic , minced
Oregano 1 teaspoon Oregano , dried
Thyme 1 teaspoon Thyme , dried
salt 1 teaspoon Salt
Black Pepper 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper , to taste
Red Onion 1 Red Onion , cut into wedges
Bell Pepper 1 Bell Pepper , green, cut into chunks
Wooden Skewer 4 Wooden Skewer , soaked in water

Instructions

  1. 1 Cut the pork tenderloin into bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3 Add the pork cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. 4 Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. 5 Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the soaked skewers, alternating with pieces of red onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper.
  6. 6 Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly charred.
  7. 7 Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Tips

For a more authentic flavor, try using a charcoal grill. Serve with warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
