Ingredients

2 cups water
1 teaspoon loose black tea leaves
2 tablespoons sugar
1 inch cinnamon stick
3 cardamom pods, crushed
2 cloves
1 teaspoon lemon juice
mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1 Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Add the loose black tea leaves, sugar, cinnamon stick, crushed cardamom pods, and cloves to the boiling water.
  3. 3 Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  4. 4 Strain the tea into cups.
  5. 5 Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to each cup and stir well.
