Ingredients

2 cups rice flour
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
ghee or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour and salt.
  2. 2 Gradually add water to the flour, mixing continuously to form a smooth dough.
  3. 3 Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a ball.
  4. 4 Flatten each ball between your palms to form a disc.
  5. 5 Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with ghee or oil.
  6. 6 Place a disc on the hot tawa and cook until the edges start to lift, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. 7 Flip the bhakri and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until light brown spots appear.
  8. 8 Repeat the process for the remaining dough.
  9. 9 Serve hot with curry or chutney.

Tips

Ensure the dough is smooth and pliable to prevent cracking while rolling.
