Ingredients
| 2 cups | rice flour |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| — | ghee or oil for cooking |
Instructions
- 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour and salt.
- 2 Gradually add water to the flour, mixing continuously to form a smooth dough.
- 3 Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a ball.
- 4 Flatten each ball between your palms to form a disc.
- 5 Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with ghee or oil.
- 6 Place a disc on the hot tawa and cook until the edges start to lift, about 2-3 minutes.
- 7 Flip the bhakri and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until light brown spots appear.
- 8 Repeat the process for the remaining dough.
- 9 Serve hot with curry or chutney.
Tips
Ensure the dough is smooth and pliable to prevent cracking while rolling.
