Ingredients

| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | sugar |
| 1 teaspoon | instant yeast |
| 3/4 cup | warm water |
| 2 tablespoons | olive oil |

Instructions
- 1 In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast together.
- 2 Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- 3 Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4 Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 5 Punch down the dough and divide it into 2-3 equal portions.
- 6 Roll each portion into a thin round or oval shape on a floured surface.
- 7 Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- 8 Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown spots appear.
- 9 Remove from heat and cover with a clean cloth to keep warm and soft.
Tips
For a more authentic flavor, brush the flatbreads with melted butter or olive oil immediately after cooking.
