Ingredients

1 cup Greek yogurt
1 medium cucumber, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
salt to taste
black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1 Place the grated cucumber in a clean cloth and squeeze out excess water.
  2. 2 In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, chopped dill, and lemon juice.
  3. 3 Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients.
  4. 4 Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. 5 Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. 6 Serve chilled as a dip or side dish.

Tips

For a thicker consistency, strain the yogurt overnight in a cheesecloth.
