Ingredients
| 1 cup | wheat flour |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 tablespoon | oil |
| 1 cup | mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, potatoes) |
| 1 teaspoon | ginger-garlic paste |
| 1 teaspoon | cumin seeds |
| 1 teaspoon | turmeric powder |
| 1 teaspoon | red chili powder |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
Instructions
- 1 In a bowl, mix wheat flour with a pinch of salt and enough water to make a soft dough.
- 2 Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into thin sheets.
- 3 Cut the sheets into small squares to make the pasta for the soup.
- 4 Heat oil in a pot and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- 5 Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until golden brown.
- 6 Add mixed vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.
- 7 Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- 8 Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- 9 Once boiling, add the pasta squares to the soup.
- 10 Cook until the pasta is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
- 11 Garnish with chopped spring onion and fresh coriander before serving.
Tips
For a richer flavor, you can add a dash of soy sauce or a pinch of garam masala.
